Classroom Networks Corporation Infrastructure Projects
Classroom Networks Corporation was founded in Northern California for the purpose of offering an array of low voltage solutions. Our goal is to provide our customers excellent Products and exceptional Service. Our Team designs and deploys fully integrated and operational networks. Our Engineers background and experience span the entire life-cycle of a system. Their capability, credibility, and reputation is based on their past performance, their education, and their coveted industry certifications. Below are several projects that our employees designed, built, and maintain.
Saint Helena Unified School District
St. Helena Elementary required Voice/Data infrastructure modernization as well as an integrated Audio Visual System that supported an IP Clock/Bell/Intercom solution. Under this contract CNC installed Cat 6E Communications cables in all classroom and office locations. All cabling was installed in new surface mount raceway. All cabling was installed in existing conduits and sleeve penetrations. CNC installed new fiber optic cabling from campus MDF to all IDF locations – Total of five (5) new fiber optic cables were installed. All fiber optic cabling was installed in existing conduit’s. CNC also installed new Communications IDF Racks and relocated the school’s Main Distribution Frame.
University of California, Santa Cruz ISP/OSP Infrastructure Modernization
The University of California, Santa Cruz has a major $45M Capital Project to upgrade their communication infrastructure. The first of these infrastructure modernization projects is Phase A which provides for a secondary telecommunications hub at the base of the campus for greater service reliability. This Phase is responsible to install over 4,500 data drops in these buildings (ISP) and construct an Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber solution serving 278 IDF/MDF’s.
Holy Spirit School and Parish Center – Wireless Network Upgrade
The school had an existing wireless network that did not meet the current needs of the students and staff, and was certainly not viable for the currently planned or as yet unplanned future needs. The move towards tablet devices for instruction, and the need to support visitors and guests was driving the requirement for a wireless infrastructure upgrade. We considered several WLAN platforms including Aruba, Aerohive, and two (2) WLAN products from Cisco. After a complete review of the products and the Holy Spirits current and future Wireless requirements we recommend for deploying a Cisco-Meraki (Meraki) solution.
Mountain View Whisman School District Past Performance
CNC IP Engineers designed the MVWSD ‘Classroom of the Future’ utilizing an AV solution. The CNC-AV solution is integrated and paired with a 75” HDTV, our microphone, amplifier, and speaker systems. While playing an audio file or iPad video the system will automatically “duck” or lower the volume of the audio as soon as the teacher speaks into the mic and raise the audio to its original volume when the teacher is done speaking. This is a great example of seamless use of technology for the teacher.
Travis AFB Infrastructure Modernization
This was a prevailing wage project complying with the “Buy American Act.” This is a simple infrastructure modernization project for the Air Force Legal Office. We provided material, labor and equipment necessary to upgrade newly renovated offices in Building 383 Base Legal Office. The project was done on time and under budget.
